Hey, guys! This is Matt with My Florida Home Buyers. I just wanted to take you through a property here. We purchased it about a month ago. Let me turn the camera around here for you. We got this property after it went through foreclosure, like I said, about a month ago. We actually had a tenant, their lease expired in one of our other properties that they were renting for us and they needed a place to stay for about a month. We ended up letting them stay here for a month. We just told them they could crash here. It worked out well for everyone because we had some other things going on. We couldn’t get to this one right away.
This is it. It’s in Tavares, Florida. It’s a manufactured home, mobile home. You can tell they were heavy smokers. I don’t know if you can see that on the walls. It’s very yellow. Definitely going to have to take care of that. I actually just got done ripping out the carpet and the padding. I got to take that to the dump. Then this tile’s going to have to come out as well because I don’t know if you can hear that, but it’s all cracked up. It didn’t adhere to the plywood floor very well. I’m never a fan of when people put tile over our plywood. It never seems to work out that well. There’s a hole in the wall we’ve got to patch. Anyways, that will get some different type of flooring in there that’s more appropriate.
Flooring out here looks pretty good. This is a laminate-type flooring. There’s two more bedrooms over here. They’ll both get carpet. Then this bathroom actually had carpet in it, which I just had to rip out. There’s not many things that I find more disgusting than carpet in bathrooms. I don’t know why people do that or why they think that’s a good idea, but it still happens from time to time. This is it, lots of smoke, lots of nicotine on the walls. Looks like they had a lot of pictures up as well. Countertops are good, cabinets are good. These are the appliances the tenant was using, so we’ll get new ones in here as well.
